| Ok, with the rain out we had last month I know you guys are ready to race. I should have a new addition to the track for you guys that don't like that first turn. Hope to see you guys out at the track. This will be a great opportunity to get some practice in before the East Coast Series comes next month.

| I have had a really busy day but, after talking to the boss and the crew we have decided to reschedule this race for 9 March. So with that being said I can only hope that mother nature gives us a break. We are 0-2 this year with scheduled races, it can only get better. Make plans for this race and please help spread the word. See you all at the races. |

| With very much regret, the crew and I worked very hard but in the end mother nature has won again. I am canceling the race and once I get a chance to sit down and talk to the boss (wife) I will have a make up date. Thanks to you all for the continued support, maybe one of these days mother nature will give us a break. |

| We are moving the PNB Entry race from Saturday 23 Feb to Sunday 24 Feb. Everything will be the same, gates open, practice, start time. Please help us get the word out as fast as possible so that everyone can make the necessary changes to make this race. |

| Just want to give you guys a heads up. I am looking at the weather and looking at all of our options. I will make a decision on the race as soon as I can. As of now we are racing on Saturday 23 Feb. the weather is looking really good for Sunday 24 Feb. so that is a really good possibility of racing on Sunday. With all the big races coming up in the next month I am going to do everything I can to get this race done this weekend. Even if I have to lay tarps down to keep the wet stuff off the track. [:P] this is just an option right now, but keep your eyes on the forum for updates. |

| I have spoken to the boss (Greg, Otto and the Wife) with the CWGS being held at Wilson on Saturday 28 April we are going to move our series race to Sunday 29 April. With this date change we are hoping to give everyone a chance that are running both series to be able to race that weekend. Maybe with the South Carolina guys up to race at Wilson maybe some off them will stay one more night and join us at Cape Fear.
Maybe the local guys from Cape Fear would like to put a challenge out there for all the SC guys. Say $50 to any SC racer that can win a class at Cape Fear???
Just putting that out there.
So please help me get the word out we will be racing on Sunday 29 April, instead of Saturday 28 April.

| Since our last race rained out and a lot of you have asked for another race here you go. This will be an Open Race with a Cash payout for the winners. This is NOT a make up race for the rained out Series Race. That one will just be dropped. I know there is a HUGE payout race at " THE PIT" so I am not sure how many will show. But I know the local crowd has been waiting awhile to race again. So with that being said anyone that cannot make the Mega Bucks race come on out for some good fun and racing.
The price will be $20 for non-members and $10 for members.
Hope to see you then. I know this is short notice so please help me get the word out.

| After talking with ALOT of people with there opinions about the race and the weather I have come to the conclusion that we WILL BE RACING TOMORROW!!
Now with that being said I will be at the track at 0500 to see if the weather has done anything to the track to prevent us from racing.
You can either call me ( 910-391-0528 ) or look on the forum and I will post if there is any changes.
Sorry to do this but this is the best we can do when the weather is involved.

| Cape Fear has a immediate need for new and renewed members. Over the past year and a half our membership base hase substantially dropped. This is our operating capital and our ability to maintain the track and grounds. As of March 1 2012, it will be necessary, as in the past, to have an active membership on file at the Hobby Shop in order to have access to the track for practice time.

| 2012 Schedule is up, mark your calenders for race dates. There will be 2 different Champs this year. A Series Champ and a Club Champ. The Club Championship will be a 2 weekend race. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions. |
